Sweet Nova was created to fuel the lives of busy, badass working professionals. We like to call our superfood freezes "the overachieving snack for overachievers."

Our food philosophy was inspired by the basic and essential rules of eating from Michael Pollan's In Defense of Food: "Eat Food, Not Too Much, Mostly Plants."

Eat Food:

In order to maximize nutrition, we retain the integrity of our ingredients, which is why we put whole, clean, superfood ingredients into each tub of Sweet Nova. Each ingredient is something you can pronounce -- no chemicals, fillers, or gums allowed.

Not Too Much:

This is why we made our products a single serving size! There's less sugar than an apple in each tub too so yes, you can go ahead and eat the whole thing...totally guilt-free.

Mostly Plants:

Eating a plant-based diet is not only good for us but also the planet. Our freezes are 100% plant-based, vegan, and dairy-free. Aka, zero animal products and tons of actual leafy, nutrient-dense fruits and vegetables.

Sweet Nova is the brainchild of Founder + CEO Caroline Tseng, a self-identifying workaholic who regularly put in 15+ hour days in her former job as a Strategy Director in advertising. After way too many instances of eating a spoonful of peanut butter for lunch while scrambling from one meeting to the next, she realized that there needed to be a super easy, super fun whole food snack option for crazy busy humans. A Vitamix, ice cream machine, and 100 recipes later, Sweet Nova was born.
